NearbyChat is a public discussion experience. Accounts support posting, commenting, voting, reporting, and content ownership.

If you choose a city for your homepage, that preference is saved in your browser using localStorage for future visits. Choosing a city is optional and does not use your device location.

Posts, comments, image uploads, YouTube links, and community tags are public content. Please avoid sharing private, sensitive, or personal information.

These notes describe the current public-beta experience and may be expanded as NearbyChat develops.
